High Altitude Gardens has been our resource since 1984 for thousands of extreme gardeners looking for exceptional flavor and trusted reliability in the coldest climates and shortest seasons.  Bill and his father represent a total of more than 50 years experience growing gardens and seeds at high elevation.

Seeds Trust Southwest is our newest venture. Since moving to the high desert of Arizona, we have made some fascinating discoveries. Many of our high altitude seeds do amazingly well in hot, dry places. Many seem to be adapted to extreme climates. Not only are they cold tolerant, many are heat tolerant as well. We will continue to test in our new desert Seeds Trust gardens as well as continue to gather information about cold tolerance from mountain locations. Outstanding varieties will be offered to you.  We are excited.

We were able to reach our Seed School KickStarter goal of $5,000 with less than 2 hours left till the deadline!  Thank you to all who helped make Seed School a reality.

Northern Pickling Cucumber is now back in stock.

Temporarily out of Fisher's Earliest and Candy Mountain.   New crop will be in in 30 days.  Some reports of mixed up seeds in Olga's Biggest packets.  If you bought Olga's Biggest this year, let us know how yours did.

Sasha's Altai is back in stock.  No restrictions on small packets.  Summer tomato seed harvest has begun.  Also back in stock:  Sub-arctic Plenty, Gem State, Northern Light, Glasnost and Red Siberian.  More soon.

Seeds Trust is probably most famous for its trip behind the Iron Curtain in 1989. President Bill McDorman personally carried back over 60 varieties of delicious tomatoes from Siberia and also made a good friend along the way.
