Seeds Trust Southwest is our latest quest to find the best tasting and most reliable regionally adapted seeds.   We are now offering seeds from trials and testing in gardens around our new shipping warehouse in Cornville, Arizona.  We are excited to explore the region’s historically deep and diverse offerings and to make the best available to you.  Many of our most cold-tolerant Siberian tomatoes have surprised us as well and survived, even thrived in our new hotter climate.  A more accurate description for them might be extreme-temperature tolerant.

We are excited about our discovery of Rattlesnake pole green beans, said to mature without irrigation when planted at the start of the summer monsoon rains.  The Tepary bean (Phaseolus acutifolius, Fabaceae) has been grown by the native peoples in Arizona since pre-Columbian times. It is more drought-resistant than the common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) and is grown in desert and semi-desert conditions.  Tepary will be prominent in next summer’s trials.  If you have a favorite corn, squash or bean, known here collectively as the three sisters, please let us know.  We are always happy to trade some of our offerings for yours.

Go directly to our Southwest offerings or use the menu to the left to browse specific categories.  Enjoy!
