Alisha Wenger

Alisha Williams, Director of Development for Seeds Trust is a new addition to the team, helping to guide new initiatives with her background in community and resource development. Alisha is a proud Coloradan who grew up in Steamboat Springs and studied English at Colorado State University. After graduation, she fulfilled a dream of serving with the United States Peace Corps, spending three years in Togo, West Africa as a Environmental Action and Food Security Development Agent. It is there Alisha found her love for empowering communities to find innovative solutions for making our world a better place to live.

Since returning home in 2013 she has worked in both the non-profit and government sectors in the Denver metro area. Alisha recently completed her Permaculture Design Certification in the spring of 2017 and is a sitting board member for Global Seed Savers (formerly Friends of Enca Farms).

Alisha handles community outreach, promotions and marketing for SeedsTrust. She can also be a resource if you are interested in collaborating on an event or project!
